Mason bees are an important species in decline due to loss of habitat and from predation by invasive species

We have an exciting announcement : we now sell our very own mason bee houses! These artisan houses are made of sustainable Cherry hardwood sourced in the PNW, have a secure "nursery chamber" that allow bees to spend their entire lifecycle in the house, and include bee cocoons and nesting materials.

To help mason bees, we have designed a house that meets their nesting needs from egg to adult.

By offering bee houses to our clientele, we hope to help mason bees on a scale that will support their populations.

Bee houses can be purchased standalone or we can install them for you. In the fall, it is important to help the bees by cleaning them, removing the parasitic wasp larvae, as well as removing a myriad of other undesirable critters.  This is a service we provide.  Once things are clean, we bring back the dormant bees and they remain in their nursery chamber until spring!

Please reach out if you are interested in having a bee house in your garden!

These bees are docile and an amazing way for adults and kids alike to learn about the insects at the heart of our ecosystems.
